City Council Candidates to Discuss Reno’s Sustainable Future in May 22 Forum Hosted by greenUp!, Scenic Nevada, and University of Nevada, Reno

Candidate Sustainability Forum features debate and audience Q&A

Reno, Nev.—On Tuesday, May 22, Reno sustainability coalition greenUp!, together with Scenic Nevada and the University of Nevada Environmental Science Graduate Program, will host the Reno City Council Candidate Sustainability Forum. More than seventeen of the twenty-seven candidates will discuss their plans to grow a strong, sustainable future for the city. The event, moderated by Reno News and Review editor D. Brian Burghart, will feature prepared questions followed by an audience question and answer session. A no-host reception at Bibo Coffee on Record Street will immediately follow the forum.  Free parking for this event is available at the UNR staff lot, corner of Evans and Record Street, after 5 p.m.
